Shana's Story

I met Cindy Ross in the summer 2008. I had been through a very rough couple of years. I left all of my family and friends to move to Texas with my Husband, who I loved dearly. Within just a few months, I was in the middle of a devastating and shocking divorce. The process of finding myself in those next few years was rough and ugly at times, but it led me to Cindy who helped me regain my spiritual center...one that I had lost in my marriage. Our first few readings were really mostly about Spirit rebuilding my confidence. I was good, I deserved happiness...I wasn't sure I believed it. I kept thinking "enough about me, WHERE IS HE?!?" I was ready for all this happiness after a string of complete schmucks! During one reading, Cindy flipped over a card and said "Well, that's your guy...but you already know him" WHAT?!?  I distinctly remember laughing and saying "Cindy, trust me...I soooo do NOT know him." Cindy was sure and said she didn't think I had dated him, but I did know him. I just didn't think it was possible. About two months later, I flew to Charlotte, NC to visit my oldest friend. We met in the 4th grade and grew up within a mile of each other in Central Florida.  I was very close with her whole family, who had also all moved to Charlotte. I enjoyed these visits because it was a break from the insanity of partying and dating.  I could just be comfortable and calm...guards down...and relax! The first night of my visit happened the way it always does...everyone crashed early except me and her older brother Mike. We normally stayed up and chatted over a few beers. I would tell him my dating horror stories and he would tell me that's why he didn't date! This time was basically the same. We stayed up watching a scary movie and talking. This time though, he sat right next to me and by the time the movie was half over, he had put his arm around me. My mind was racing and I don't remember much of the movie after this point. I just kept wondering how I was going to get out of this. He was my best friend's brother...this could never work...I had to let him down easy. Then he kissed me... I swear to this day I heard the words "You're home" in my head, loud and clear like someone whispered them in my ear. I just knew, in that moment “He was the One!”  It was probably another week before I remembered Cindy's reading...that I already knew him. I had never, ever considered him. He said he had wanted to tell me how he felt the previous year. I had completely missed all the ways he had flirted with me! Within 9 months, I moved to Charlotte to be with him and we're getting married April 21st, 2012. We were truly meant for each other and I still cannot believe that I've known him since I was 10 years old. Cindy knew and when I doubted her, she just smiled. She was right all along!
